Every now and then an image really speaks to me.  I took this one last year, and I come back to it over and over again.  It's a reminder of having a clean slate, that is easily tarnished by the day to day activities we experience, and the choices we make.

Being 28,  I've realized that life is finally catching up to me.  Consequences always follow choice.   The small things really do add up, and all the small consequences are really setting in.

Every now and then I need to take a moment,  put life aside, and find a new direction in order to strive towards innocence and purity.  Those are two ideals I'll never fully obtain, but it certainly can't hurt trying to reach them.

They seem so far away right now.
