I realize that it’s the people that matter most. The people I meet, connect, and work with are what this thing called life is all about. It’s my clients, friends, and family who make this all possible. To you people who have made this possible, I want to say thank you for supporting me in what I do.

I can’t thank my daughter Sophia enough for agreeing to our little “appointments” we make from time to time. These are a few photos from late summer shortly after she turned five. I’m a proud dad, and this little girl means the world to me.

More personal work from my recent trip to Breckenridge. I love how the sun was behind the peak and painted the scene with this gorgeous color.

Sometimes something pulls you off the couch after a long day of snowboarding. Sometimes that thing is to make some personal photography. And sometimes, that feeling is much more satisfying than leisure time.

That feeling has been growing more and more on me these days, and getting out of the house is bringing great satisfaction.

Hopefully the shots I have to share will have the same effect on you. :)

Winter is over and this spring air has never felt better. I’m so excited to photograph all of my clients weddings this year, and also put together some personal projects.

The above Polaroids were all taken on 600 film.

First on the list of people to thank is my clients. Without you none of this photography would even be possible, or as rewarding as it has been. I’ve also realized that it is the connections I have with my clients that will propel me into having another awesome year. Thank you to all of you, who saw something in my work and choosing me to be your photographer.

The rest of the people I’d like to thank are my friends, family, and colleagues. The support and inspiration you have given me is like no other I’ve ever experienced. It’s definitely noticed, appreciated, and valued. I think of this everyday, and certainly gives me what I need for believing in myself.

And finally, to my clients of 2011. I’m ready to do this, and together let’s make this year another awesome year.

There’s something about the color and the aesthetic that just works with the bitter harshness of winter. It’s cold, and the shooting hasn’t been as consistent so now I have time to get caught up with all of my clients, and share more work from the past year.
